How to Reverse a Checked-In Appointment

If an appointment was checked in by mistake, CompanyOn allows practitioners and clinics to reverse the check-in action.

This helps clinics:
• Correct scheduling errors
• Reopen appointments for editing
• Adjust appointment workflows when check-in occurred accidentally

How to Reverse a Checked-In Appointment

  1. Open the checked-in appointment

  2. Click the Reverse Icon located at the top right of the appointment window

  3. Confirm the reverse action


Important Billing Information

When an appointment is checked in:
• CompanyOn automatically generates an invoice for the service

Reversing the appointment:
• Does NOT automatically reverse or annul the invoice already created

The invoice:
• Will remain active
• Will remain linked to the appointment
• Must be managed separately through the Billing module if necessary


How to Annul the Invoice After Reversing an Appointment

  1. Open the Billing module

  2. Locate the invoice linked to the appointment

  3. Click the X Icon

  4. Select the annulment reason

  5. Confirm the annulment


Frequently Asked Questions

Does Reversing an Appointment Delete the Invoice?

No. The invoice remains active until manually annulled through the Billing module.


Can the Appointment Be Edited After Reversing It?

Yes. Once reversed, the appointment becomes editable again.


Where Is the Reverse Icon Located?

The Reverse Icon is located at the top right of the appointment window.
