How to Book a Group Appointment

CompanyOn allows clinics and practitioners to schedule group appointments for multiple clients at the same time.

Group appointments are useful for:
• Group therapy sessions

• Shared appointments or programs

The Group Appointment workflow helps clinics simplify scheduling and manage multiple participants within a single appointment.


Before Booking a Group Appointment

Important Requirement

Groups must first be created inside the Services Admin module before they can be scheduled on the calendar.


How to Create a Group

  1. Open the Services Admin module

  2. Select the Groups tab

  3. Click Create Group

  4. Add the clients that belong to the group

  5. Enter a name for the group

  6. Save the group


How to Book a Group Appointment

  1. Open the Calendar

  2. Click on the desired time slot

  3. Select Create Appointment

  4. Locate the Group Icon beside the client field

  5. Click the Group Icon

  6. Select the saved group by name

  7. Select the practitioner

  8. Choose the service

  9. Complete the remaining appointment details

  10. Save the appointment


What Happens Next

Once the appointment is saved:
• All clients assigned to the group are automatically attached to the appointment
• Scheduling workflows apply to all group members
• Billing and documentation workflows can then be managed accordingly
• Practitioners can continue with standard charting and billing workflows for the session
